KEN MOORE

Ken is a seasoned global business executive, technologist and serial entrepreneur with a proven track record.  He founded Spark Connected with a vision to transform wireless power delivery with innovative platforms and disruptive technology, providing customers with solutions not available in the market today.

With almost 30 years in the technology industry, Ken has experience in business and engineering leadership roles, including system architecture, product definition and development, IC design, marketing and brand management, customer relationship management, operations and manufacturing.  His accomplishments during his 20 years at Texas Instruments included building an ASIC business worth $700 million with a tier 1 global networking customer.  Prior to Spark Connected, his roles included Vice President and General Manager at Semtech Corporation and Triune Systems.  In 2015, Ken successfully sold Triune Systems, a semiconductor startup, to Semtech Corporation.

Ken is well respected in the wireless power community and has been involved in the evolution of both the Wireless Power Consortium (Qi) and AirFuel Alliance standards.  He and his team were early pioneers in creating innovative wireless power products that achieved regulatory approval and are currently sold in the market.  Ken holds multiple wireless power patents.

An evangelist of the first two rules of Engineering, he is a strong proponent of the simplest solution for a complex problem.  Ken holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Irvine and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys, as they make new discoveries and expand their horizons.
